I am thinking of purchasing a 14 week old yorkie puppy who has not been eating too much. The breeder is concerned, and told me to buy A D food and gastro med cam from the vet to have on hand in my home (nutrocal too). Also, she said she has to coax the puppy to eat all day. She will eat a bit of chicken and hamburger mixed with rice. She is small, but is this normal for a puppy this age to not eat?
I called the vet and they told me that she should be eating normally on her own. I really want to have this puppy, but I do want to have a healthy and happy puppy.
Would appreciate any info or recommendations.
