After some suggestions I read up on methylcobalamin, a B12 vitamin that targets nerves. I asked the rehab vet about it last night, and as usual, she stated that there isn't much research, no actual PROOF that it helps nerves, etc. BUT she said they do give shots to animals that are deficient, and although Layla is not deficient, she would give her small shots during acupuncture if that's what I want to try. It wouldn't be a full dose, but it would be a little something. Please cross your fingers that it might help her regain some feeling or best of all, bladder control! |
Yes, Lindsey I agree. If I were in your shoes I'd try the b-12 too. hopefully it will help with bladder control. You're doing a great job with little layla she's such a trooper and is staying such a sweeetie pie through all she's been through.
Keep up the great work, we'll keep up the prayers!
