Try and find a reputable breeder - the price may be a little more, but you would know for sure the lineage of the pups - you said these puppies had no papers but their mother has papers. What about the father?? Do you know for sure the puppies are pure bred? Buying from a reputable breeder will get you papers and a health guarantee (probably insurance free for 6 weeks or so).
People who sell puppies too young always bother me. Don't aid her in breaking the law by buying the puppy at 6 weeks.
