During the day, I keep him in the main area of the condo, which is the living room and dining room. The kitchen is blocked off with a gate. I keep the 2 bedroom doors closed most of the time because those rooms are carpeted. Sometimes I let him in the bedroom though. Usually it's if I'm taking a shower or doing something in the bedroom for more than a couple minutes. If I leave him in the main area by himself, or in his crate, he whines and barks.. which is another issue I'm working on. Anyway, he often pees just a tiny bit on the carpet. Usually when I'm not looking. He knows where his pad is. Last time I was in the shower, when I got out, he had left a little tiny puddle on the carpet in the bedroom, but he had also been out to the main area to poo on his pad. And we have a big area rug in the main room and he doesn't pee on it. I don't get it. Whenever he does this, I show him to his pad, which is how we trained him in the first place, but he's still leaving little puddles in the bedroom. If anyone knows why or how to stop it, I'd love your help! Sorry for hijacking your thread. | That is EXACTLY how Bella is. About the barking. Try Rescue Remedy. Its all natural anti-stress drops for dogs. I had that same exact problem with bella and her crate but now she does fine! I give her a treat before I go so she has something to gnaw on for a while. |
