I bought this super-inexpensive HP printer at Walmart last summer and it works beautifully: Walmart.com: HP Deskjet F4440 All-in-One Inkjet Printer/Scanner/Copier: Computers

Haven't tried printing photos on photopaper with it, but I didn't need that function for my purposes.
