If it is so horrible to consider "breeding for profit" and you do not show your dogs, then WHY would anyone breed their female dog knowing the risks to her life? Apparently yorkies are one of the most difficult dogs to breed.
I just cannot figure this out except that people do it not knowing the risks or they are not being honest about doing it make money.
Show breeders will always say they are trying to produce the perfect yorkie (whatever that is) which I sort of have a problem with on ethical grounds (it's kind of like saying they are trying to playing God with the lives of dogs in my opinion). I totally understand being obsessed with a HOBBY but this hobby involves living creatures which makes it a very serious hobby , not to be taken lightly.
I personally see nothing wrong with making money as long as proper and exceptional care is shown the dogs and by that I mean love and attention, not just medical care. But a lot of people seem to be of the opinion that if you breed for profit then you are inherently a BAD breeder. |
Why don't you ask the breeders that you purchased your dogs from this question- you have stated in the past they do not show.
Admin you know where this thread is going. IMO this is just a thread trying to start a fight. I ask that admin close this thread.
