Chip was relaxing on his side and my husband noticed a small lump (about 1/2 of the size of a dime and raised a little) on Chip's leg and it looked like a very small spot of dried blood. It looks like a bug bite. He doesn't seem bothered by it other than a little itchy, but he doesn't seem in pain and he's acting totally 100% normal - still eating, playful, still drinking, etc. I gave him a little benadryl just in case of an allergic reaction and put some antiseptic cream on it. I don't really know what else to do other than to keep an eye on it and make sure it doesn't get worse or infected. It doesn't look bad at all, but I'm a worry wart. I've looked all over the rest of his body and he looks fine. Any other suggestions?
