Oh sorry, everyone always thinks Joey's a girl too, I don't know why, but Yorkies just look like girls to me. Joey's breeder leaves a little "pee string" on him, it's a small amount of hair that directs the urine so it doesn't dribble. Here's a picture of the pee string, it doesn't need to be very long only about an inch will do it. Look for the area that says "Trimming Urination Area of a Dog"
