 How to introduce Buster to my parents dog
Buster will be travelling with me to meet my family for the first time. We will be staying with my parents and with their dog Cody. Cody is a 40lb rescue with some fear based aggression issues. He is fearful of people and has nipped a couple of times. He does not seem to have dog on dog aggression issues but he has never met a small dog that I know of. He gets along with my brother's dog Jack who is a Springer Spaniel who visits my parents all the time. How do I introduce Buster to Cody. Buster has a great temperament and loves dogs of all sizes so I am not worried about him being the aggressor. We will be travelling by plane for the first time also so there will be a lot of new experiences for Buster to deal with. Should I introduce them outside of the house first? |
