There is no pain med agreed on as best. Many are worried about Rimadyl. If you are, you could ask for something else. I don't think there really is a right or wrong answer...

She will probably be very lethargic when she gets home. Very normal. Ellie could barely stand for the rfirst 12 hours. Watch the incision for redness, pain, heat, and swelling (look at it as soon as possible so you will have something to compare to if there seems to be a prolblem).
