I am also a NEWBIE! I really was not enthused about the puppy aspect but learned if I took her potty when I went, piddle pad next to toilet she would go. And she also trained to the outdoors really easy!!! I was shocked, Mia began sleeping through the night at 10 weeks and in our bed! If you are consistent they train easier than any other dog I have had. We are amazed, but we learned early on to read her body signals such as if she starts to tremble that means she is ready. You will know your babies signals if you watch and can get them into a routine. We are from Omaha and thankful that she was so easy since we added her to the family in March. Good luck! And look forward to hearing about your babies antics. They have such personality. Mine is frankly a diva and able to con anybody into doing ANYTHING she wants! Mary & Mia
