My vet recommended always having food available to him until he's six months old. My vet recommends Science Diet, but it's just as crappy as the Eukenuba you are feeding. I switched Knox to Blue Buffalo puppy. Now that he's 8 months old, I feed him Taste of the Wild. It may be too rich in protein for a young puppy though. Look at the first ingredient. The first ingredient listed is the main ingredient. It should be meat, not corn. Lots of people here feed grain-free foods. Grain causes lots of dogs to have allergies. Grain-free foods are more expensive, but that is negligible when you are talking about a yorkie. A 15 lbs bag will go bad before you can feed it all.
