I do not like the idea of having them put under for teeth cleaning either. I think it's just a way for the vet to get more money. I used to raise and train greyhounds for the track and I cleaned all of their teeth myself with no anesthetic. I put them all on an antibiotic after cleaning just in case.
I need to have Deucy's cleaned again. It's been 8 months and that was the ony time he needed them cleaned. I do NOT want him put under but, how do you tell a vet that? If you read my posts about BAD VET in KS, you know all about my history with vets around here.
