I would definitely NOT do anything to the tail at this age as it has grown a bit and has nerves, etc., and most vets would consider it an amputation now. She will learn to protect it with age and experience, and full tails are delightful!

Dewclaws, if they are problematic might be dealt with at the time of spay, assuming you intend to spay her sometime like 6-10 months old; she will be much bigger then and more able to handle anesthesia.
