Amen! I had no idea this was how it worked till someone who needs a Dr couldn't go the other day. They don't get VA benefits because they were deployed 18 instead of 24 mo, they are Army Reserve instead of Regular Army. They returned to late in Jan to sign up for Ins at work, so they are screwed till Jan 2011 when open enrollment comes around again. A whole year of no medical insurance once they return. His back is killing him from what he had to do in Iraq. It's not right!
I didn't know regular Army guys were less bullet proof than the Reservist so they got the VA benefits they all deserve.

That is horrible How's that for a great big fat Thank You for serving our country??










I'm sure its comforting to him to have to relive the war through back pain daily for the next year (at least...) too
