You can use this gel to help train his hair to stay out of his eyes. It's made for dogs so it doesn't flake like get that people use. (BTW I am not endorsing any one place to purchase from - I'm only using this to show what the name of the product is and what it looks like)

You can use several different types of bands to hold the hair. It depends on the thickness/amount of your pups hair as to which one works best.

As mentioned above, please make sure that the topknow isn't too tight. I've seen people put them in and their poor eyes look like they're about ready to pop out of their head!
