Please help:

Few minutes ago I found a bald spot on my 6month old Yorkie's forehead. I researched and found out that leaving a clip on your Yorkie's hair for a long time can cause a bald spot. I immediately removed the clip and tried to massage his forehead. I feel extremely bad and irresponsible for not knowing this information.

I've been putting clips on my Yorkie's hair for about 2 months now to avoid his hair from blocking his eyes. I had no idea it was bad to leave the clip on him for a long time. Sometimes I would leave the clip on him for 3 days or more.

Can anyone suggest ways to help his forehead heal or by sharing similar experiences. I also read that the bald spot can be permanent. I am very worried.
