Sydney just did this last night. She had done it before, too. She acts as if she's in trouble suddenly when she's not, tucks her tail down, and hides. She will hide in the room I'm in, so if I move, she moves and hides under a bed, behind a chair, or in her backpack. I couldn't even get her to eat a flake of cereal, which is very rare for her. Earlier in the day, we went swimming, and then she came outside with me to do some yard work. It was hot, but she would go to the shade a sit while I worked.
This morning, she's back to normal. What's also new is that she's into barking at light fixtures in the ceiling (and they don't have to be on for this to happen), furnace vents, and oscillating fans.
Strange little darlings we have. I just tell people she's touched in the head. |
