bits of cooked veggies are good too. Mine love carrots. Hot Rod is the vegetarian of the 2, he will do anything for green beans, zucchini, broccoli, cauliflower. Be careful though, mushrooms and onions are very bad for them.
I found some dried salmon treats at Petsmart and that is all Maggie will eat now. She gets meds 2x a day and hates it but will willingly take it as she knows she gets this treat afterwards. This is the only time she gets this treat so I can be sure she'll take her medicine. |
