I really feel your pain! I have the worst veins in the world--not helpful if you've had heart surgery like I have. Before I found out I needed MV repair I tried to give blood while at work. The nurse poked at least twice in each arm before hitting it just right and then my vein blew out. You should have seen the hematoma that developed! I was technicolor and it freaked out my supervisor--so much so she let me have the rest of the day off! Thank God it was Friday!!!
