My Westie takes Comfortis with no problems and . . no fleas! The big side effect is nausea and if the dog vomits within an hour of taking the pill, you must give them another dose.
My breeder used it on her pet yorkies but my vet would not give it to Lucy because she has not reached 4 lbs.
