Oh ok my dog is 1 yr 10 mo. Ya I think she stopped growing around there lengthwise but she did fill out more after that around her chest area. The bag is made for their head to be inside. When it zips shut it's supposed to look like a purse so it's discreet. The side window is what you open for the head to pop out. I just took pix with her head popping out bc it looked cute. I also like the carmel but I thought the white one was fun looking and the carmel color also was more expensive. They do have the white on that site I purchased from but only size small.
