There are different grades of leather and before I purchased one, I'd do some research, request to see a swatch of the leather that the manufacturer uses (aka color swatches) and purchase the best quality (not necessarily the most expensive) leather that you can afford.
Below is a picture of a "drawing" that my Chattie did several years ago. I call it Blue Ink Sketch on Leather Couch Canvas". The ink was a challenge to get out but with diligent scrubbing and a Mr. Clean Magic Eraser it came completely out. If it had just been me I would have left her drawing in place  but hubby found it distasteful. |
oh my gosh, I cannot believe hubby found it distasteful. That looks like Chattie has a real *touch* for art.
