The heat and humidity have made walks difficult for us too. We have to go very early in the morning and very late in the evening. Even then I have had to cut things short for fear of overheating my guys.
Does Benson like playing fetch in the house? I use soft toys and have several fetch sessions a day to help keep the boys active. When we have another person to join in, we play 'keep away' with the dogs sprinting back and forth for the toys.
