I hear a lot of people say that dogs just HAVE to be trained to go outside, but I love that mine know that "let's go potty" means we're going outside to do just that as well as knowing that they have the option of a pee pad if I'm not home and they have to go. Pee pads are Lilli's savior in the middle of the night too! She goes every night in the middle of the night, but I sleep hard so I never hear her get up! Washable pee pads are the best too, just bleach them and reuse! Saves a lot of $$
