Well I have obviously been a bad yorkie mom, with my work trips and weekend getaways I was slacking on the grooming
and now Rizzo has mats all over his face.
I've been pulling them apart with my fingers, and then combing them with a metal comb from the end to the root. I've managed to get out all the small ones, but there are 2 big ones on either side of his mouth, and he is so sensitive around there that I cant get him to sit still for me to even start by pulling them apart.
I got him to sit still long enough to get one big one cut off of him, but it was far enough from the root, just too big that I was doing more pulling then detangling. The problem is that the other two biggies are right at the root and I cant get him still enough to feel comfortable putting scissors near them.
Any suggestions? Is there some miracle de-matter?
Rizzo appreciates the help
