It's gets better. When I my cat was a kitten (who I still have 13 yrs later), I didn't get any sleep for at least 2yrs. Cats especially kittens are nocturnal (at least Zoey was) and she slept most of the day while I was at work and played all night. I would hear tt hings breaking in the middle of the night. I remember one time my kitten got caught in the blinds. I couldn't sleep because everytime I'd move she would attack me. Jeeze....it was brutal
