Thank you all for the warm welcome! I took Lucy to the vet yesterday, and he confirmed that she was indeed a Morkie. He also said that she was 8-12 months old. Since she was abandoned, I guess we'll never know for sure. BUt the CRAZY thing was that while we were there, she went into heat (on the outside!)
Apparently they have about 21 day cycles, and don't "show" until about 1 week into it. The vet was not overly concerned about her teeth, and they run a special in Feb, so I am planning on getting her spayed and her teeth cleaned all at once. I think it'll be less traumatic to put her out once than two times. She's been really clingy to me lately .. maybe that is why... I was so stunned about the whole heat thing, I forgot to ask the vet about the discoloration (kind of apricot-ish) of her fur! LOL...
