I had Sophie back to the vets for the third time yestereday! Now she is having a bit of blood at the end of her smushy stools. He has me feeding her the Iams for GI formula kibble. She is not that thrilled but he said she couldn't continue on with just chicken, rice & pumpkin she has been on for a month. He just gave her an anti diarrheal medicine and said keep up with the probiotics. He still didn't culture the poo (said she had so much antibiotics they wouldn't see anything) no blood work or nothing! If she isn't better really soon I am taking her to another vet. This has gone on too long.
Her weight is ok, because when she was on the Flagyl she would have ok stools but as soon as she was off - back to the poo doos. I am at my wits end. She is willing to play, but does seem like she is sleeping a bit more.
Any ideas??
