Okay, this is going to be my last post on this thread.
First, I do apologize to the powers that be if my posts came off as overly critical. I have never thought that any of the moderators here do a "bad" job. I'm on other boards where it is NOT permitted to question/complain about decisions at all, and doing so is grounds for suspension. And I think it's a reasonable enough rule, because the mods have decided how they run their board, and they don't want any feedback.
YT has a more open feel, since we are allowed to make suggestions, complain, etc. My feeling is that I've been on here for a while, and just as a really good friend will tell you YES, those pants do make your butt look big, I want to be honest and say that it seems to me that some people post in a way that is in direct opposition to the YT rules, and there appear to be no consequences for them. I think that these posts drag down the tone of YT, and it can lead to a perception - maybe not the reality, but the
perception - of favoritism. That's all.
Again, this does not mean that the mods Should Be Doing a Better Job. I am requesting a slightly different philosophy in moderation.
I think I've made this point several times now, so I'll stop making it, as it seems now we are going in circles. That's all. Have a great day, everyone.
