to OP: i'm glad you got a diagnosis on your pup. Dr. M and Dr. S at AERA are very good at what they do. Dr. M can be a little odd but she knows her stuff. the neuro techs are also great and will take excellent care of her. |
I just picked up my little girl from the hospital. You are so right about the vets at AERA...they are EXCELLENT!! Dr. M asked that I don't read too much into what I've read about GME on the internet because she says that most of this info is outdated. She said she's had quite a few dogs with GME who have gone on to live for far more years than what was previously expected of dogs with this disease. She told me we just have to take it one day at a time. I just hope and pray that my baby gets stabilized soon. Right now she is just spinning in circles incessantly, and it just breaks my heart. Dr. M assures me the spinning will stop eventually. Thank you, everyone, for all your prayers.
