My yorkie/maltese mix seems to be rather large for his age. He is 13 weeks old and weighs 9 lbs. I am wondering if the breeder was not completely up front about his parents. I met them both and the dad did seem a bit on the large size for a yorkie but I was not expecting Coco to be this big. Does anyone know if this is quite abnormal, and do yorkie puppies grow very fast in the beginning and then taper off as they get older? Any input would be helpful.
