Default Worried at First

I had some concerns for the medication at first. I gave my yorkie interceptor for heartworm and vectra D. 12 hours later, the puppy was throwing up constantly for three hours. In the process, I also found grass that he had eaten. I was never sure about the cause for it. He was fine and eating the next day. I did, however, space out medication the next month. I apply vectra D before bedtime so that the oil has a chance to absorb without hands touching the dog. I give interceptor with a treat the next morning. This seems to work for us. I do like the medications. I think it's important to not handle the dog afterwards with any type of topical treatment. They love to lick and some meds can really stick to human hands. Treat before bedtime works for us.
