I love the laser surgery! Java, the Chih was the first pup that had it. The grrls before Java were spayed with the knife. I was very impressed how neat the incision was & the vet used the glue on her. She healed a lot quicker, too. Beau was neutered with the laser and he had dissolve sutures. He healed pretty fast. Blue was neutered by my best friend's vet and they used the knife on him and he's healing as to be expected. I did not use my vet because he wanted $250 for the castration, in total of almost $500 for everything. It was a lot of money for the 3.4 lbs puppy with cryptorchidism. I now know that i prefer to have a vet who does laser surgery. Of course, it costs more but whatever is best for my babies.
It is normal to be nervous. You both are in my prayers & she's going to be okay.
