If you can not put it on tile..or get a raised pen, you can buy cheap vinyl table clothes at the Dollar stores. I used to use them at dog shows and lay them over the grass.
You can buy a roll of plastic from Home Depot also.
A heavy duty plastic works better then thin plastic..mine rip up thin stuff.
