Yes, one of my boyz got bit on the face by a red ant and he started swelling up pretty bad. I took him in to the vet and they gave him a shot of Benadryl and something else but I don't remember what the second part was. The swelling started going down almost immediately and he was fine after that.
Is he shaking his paw or is his body shaking? If he is shaking his paw it's probably because it hurts, it's swollen and it is itchy but if his body is shaking that may be from pain or an allergic reaction to the bite. |
