Sounds like you are doing a great job with her. As long as she is eating andyou watch for a low sugar attack she should be fine. I would have done the same thing she is better off with a responsible loving owner like you than with them. Besides they would have just sold her to someone else. Keep us posted and ask away any questions you have. She is so cute.
