Hi. I'm in the UK too.

Sounds like everything's ok if the vet's happy. Many people over here do rehome at 6 weeks though it is best to wait until 8 weeks. I did get my first yorkie (years ago) at 6 weeks but she was a chunky little thing and she and her brother (the entire litter) were driving their mam mad. As she was eating well and was healthy we had her earlier.

My new yorkie (5 months and being spayed tomorrow...agh!) came to me at 8 weeks, so not all that much older than yours is now. She had her first jab at 9 weeks and her next 2 weeks later then was allowed on the ground outside 2 weeks after that. But after her first jab I took her out and about in a carrier to socialise her and get her used to seeing all different things. They're fine as long as they are not allowed on the ground and not allowed in contact with unvaccinated dogs. So, as your dog is vaccinated they'll be fine together. Do you have a garden or yard? If so she can go out there providing it's a clean area. If you have concrete you can disinfect the area for her and let her go out there for toilet training. Rats can carry diseases as well, which is why you need to disinfect the area even though no unvaccinated dogs go there.

What wet food is she having? I ask because at her age it's best to have food down for her all day which you can't really do with dry food. I have mine on James Wellbeloved Turkey and Rice Puppy, which is one of the best available in the UK. If you wanted to change, though, I'd do it over a couple of weeks as she's a tiddler.

You are doing the right thing in keeping her. She's 7 weeks now so not far off the recommended age and you've had her vet checked and she's healthy. She's eating well, etc, so there are no probs with you keeping her. Just give her lots of love and keep a close eye on her.
