Daisy just had her appointment and the took blood to test her liver enzymes and enough blood to run bile acid test if needed.
her appointment was at 10:20 and the vet told me to wait to feed her in case we had to do the bile acid test.
It is now almost 1 and I called the vet and they are in a meeting until 2 and poor Daisy is hungry. I asked if someone could give me the lab results and they said I had to wait for my doctor
Daisy is sitting in the kitchen barking at the refrigerator
I feel so bad bc I don't know if I fed her now would it screw up the bile acid test. Does anyone know?
Also the vet said that Daisy's liver did not feel swollen and she was not in pain when they examined her
I am on pins and needles here waiting for a darn phone call
They are getting called back at 2.............poor Daisy I feel so bad that she is hungry. She has lost 2 lbs in a month. She has 5 more oz to go and she is at ideal weight for her.
