We camped at a state park in MN. We cheked online and made some phone calls to the campsites we stayed at ahead of time. We found plenty of sites that allowed pets and all they required was the dog be leashed at all times and that you picked up after your pet. We were camping in a tent so I made sure I packed her dog bed and some of her favorite toys along with a small dog tie-out. With the tie out we could attach her close to us at the picnic table and she was pretty content to sit and chew on her toys.
