When I brought my Mylee home, she was missing two of her upper teeth. My vet told me some dogs are just missing them, and some are retained (there but never come in). Around 16 weeks she started losing her baby teeth then her adult teeth actually pushed through the two baby teeth that were missing, so thank goodness she didn't need surgery to go in and remove them. She has all her adult teeth now and everything looks good!
