I was at my sons college graduation. Another mom sitting beside me and my 3 daughters (all 3 in college also) states after they announce my son magna cum lauda and finishing his 4 year dual degree in 3 years, "it must be nice to have someone smart in your family"!! Now I graduated magna cum lauda from nursing school, my oldest daughter is on a full scholarship to a private all girls school in Boston, and my twins are both at a state college. I then thought about the comment and figured she meant there was no one smart in her family..
