hi,
im not long off the phone with the vet- there was only minor external trauma meaning that it was probably caused by a pre-existing neurological problem (such as an anurism) and a small knock on the head triggered it.
the area was completely secure which is why it was such a shock- but it could have even been caused by something as innocent as her playing with her siblings.

the vet assumes it was very quick, and the shock would have meant she wouldnt have felt much, and she had her momma there when she passed; so she wasnt alone.
