If I were you I'd spring for the DNA test. First of all, I think this is going to bug you and eat away at you. Second, if he's not a purebred, then A) you need to be refunded your money (and I think ALL of it should be refunded since you were deceived,) and B) this so-called breeder should be brought to light so it doesn't happen again.
Long story about how we got Charlie, our Yorkie. No papers. Supposedly he's a full Yorkie. Well, he's pretty big. Aside from that, nearly everyone that sees him that knows dogs asks, "What kind of dog is he?" When we say, "He's a Yorkie," they always say, "Oh, he must be a mix." I don't care what he is. And we got him for free due to the "breeder" being "unable to sell him because of the economy."
See, I knew NOTHING about buying or getting a dog until after I had him and found this site. But if I had paid for him, I would want what I paid for, even if I did love him more than anything. (My daughter thinks our Charlie is a Yorkie Schnauzer mix.) |
