I told my husband, "Capt Noonie loves uni...she even named her yorkie Uni." He said, "Who!!!" He should have know it was from yt!!
Was it a new episode or an old one? I have seen them use uni before, but don't remember if the entire show was uni. Who was the iron chef? I hope it was Morimoto!!!

Oh forgot to say, yes you can eat bone marrow, but it has to be in a bigger bone, lamb being probably the smallest. But beef bones are a good size. It's kind of fatty, but in a good way. Kinda hard to explain, but lots of flavor!

Boil 3-4 stalks of lemon grass in a quart of chicken stock for about 30 min.
Let sit for about 5-10 minutes, remove stalks and slowly add (while stirring) about 1/2 can of coconut milk. That's the base! Now you can add whatever you like to it!
I have used shrimp, chicken and tons of different veggies.

(Make sure you rinse the lemon grass stalks first, and they will need to be cut in pieces to fit your pot.)
Oh I think you are talking about tom ka gai soup? That is with chicken, soooooo goooood! Haven't had it in a while though.
