My first yorkie had to have two teeth removed when she was spayed. They were so deeply rooted that she bled so badly that they had to bathe her as she was covered in blood. She had no problems otherwise, though.

And I have the same thing coming up this Thursday. My pup is booked in to be spayed and (since I booked) 4 canines have burst through without the baby ones showing any sign at all of loosening so I'm sure they're going to have to come out as well while she's under anaesthetic. I've also told them I want her microchipped then as well as I wanted her to avoid feeling the pain so have put it off. I'm not looking forward to Thursday but I'm sure she'll be ok. I'll feel as guilty as hell that she'll be going through so much discomfort but I will keep telling myself that it is all for her benefit in the long run. I'll make sure she has some nice soft food for the first few days and she'll be fine...I'm sure.
