Your little Nero is very cute. Congrats. Hopefully he will get used to the new environment quickly and starts eating on a more regular base.
He looks like he is a lot of fun and for sure after the long car ride, missing his mom and siblings, checking out the new place, vet visit etc he must have been tired.
Apparently it is common here in North America that most puppies stay with their mom at least until the age of 12 weeks. It's different in Europe, puppies go to their new homes after week 8.
