She was so dang easy! Still trainable but so well behaved. When someone is planning to show a dog, they get them used to all kinds of things ... like being handled, groomed, walked on leash, topknots messed with, etc. (I was shocked the first time I tried to re-do her topknot -- as soon as I touched it, she immediately hit the ground laid flat until I was through). And they've had potty training, but you will have to transfer what they know about what is acceptable in their old home to the equivalent in your home. You will also have a much better idea of how the pup will turn out as an adult.

I say go for the 9 month old!
I totally agree, go with the 9 month old. We got Bogie at 7 months, he was to be a stud for a local breeder. He got too big for her females so she decided to rehome him. He has been a breeze. He was 90% potty trained and was used to being around other dogs. He was well socialized and fit right in with our family from day 1.
