He is in a new environment and it will take awhile for him to feel comfortable. He don't want him playing for long intervals....at his young age he is unable to retain his blood sugar levels. So, activity should be kept at a minimum. Playtimes should be short and non-threatening. You may have to soften his food and spoon feed him or you can add a bit of Parmasean cheese to entice him. If that doesn't work, try some baby rice cereal, with goats milk mixed with equal parts of distilled water, with a bit of Karo Syrup (corn syrup) added; feed at room temperature.
Ah.....also, make sure you are giving him filtered or bottle water....as changing water can upset his digestive tract. Feed him a bit every 2 hours. Also, as someone suggested Nutri-Cal or NutriDrops. Becareful with the Nutri-Cal as it can bring on a hyperglycemic attack if you don't follow the directions and over use it. It can also contribute to sugar diabitis.
