We had a problem like this in our old apartment and had to end up moving out. It was so disturbing and our landlord did barely anything about it and we have our little boy too...The super plugged holes with steel wool and it was exterminated which settled the problem for a minute...A neighbor in that building told me she had her apartment rodent sealed and the problem ended. It cost her $450 but she said it was worth it. Basically you hire an exterminator to come in and look for all the holes in your apartment and then they spray this substance into the holes. It fills the holes and the mice cannot get through it. It looks like a yellow foam but it is hard. She said that since she did it she has had no mice. You can try to get your landlord to pay, but if you are planning to stay in your apartment it might be worth the layout.
This time of year is hard because they all want to be inside and keep warm.
